VNA: Thanks for Rubber Ducky Race support

Nearly 350 rubber ducks bobbed along the Yampa River during the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association’s first Craig Rubber Ducky Race on Sept. 5. The event was a success, raising important funds for the VNA’s Hospice and Palliative Care program. It was wonderful to see families, children and residents excitedly watching the ducks and enjoying games, food and activities in Loudy-Simpson Park after the race. We want to extend a big thank you to race sponsors, in kind sponsors, volunteers and organizations who helped bring together the many aspects of this event. We are very grateful for everyone who bought tickets to support the race. The money raised will help us to continue caring for terminally ill patients and their families in Moffat County. We look forward to another great Rubber Ducky Race next year.
