Veteran’s Hotline: Free chili supper for veterans

The American Legion Post 62 plans to host a free chili supper for all veterans and their families from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Legion hall, 1055 Moffat County Road 7.

This will be a good opportunity for veterans to find out more about the legion and their function in the community.

Senior dinner upcoming

The senior dinner will be held Nov. 2 at the VFW. The doors open at 4:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 5.

American Legion hall available for events

The Legion hall is available to rent for all functions. Call 824-3625 for more information and prices.

The American Legion is also asking members who have not paid their dues to please do so as soon as possible. Remember, this is part of what keeps the Legion functional.

Firewood for disabled veterans

Disabled veterans who need firewood can contact Kent Foster at 870-2142. The firewood came from National Forest Service clear-cutting operations, and will be split and delivered.

Help wanted for Sunday bingo

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 needs volunteers to help with bingo on Sundays. You will be trained on the job, and your help will be greatly appreciated.
