USDA state director visits Craig

CRAIG — Sallie Clark, the new state director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development and Amy Mund, public affairs specialist with USDA RD, visited with community leaders Jan. 29 at Colorado Northwestern Community College.

USDA staff were in Craig for a listening session to hear about the community’s needs and goals to help guide the state’s priorities and budgeting.

Other represented entities involved in the meeting included Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership, Moffat County United Way, Moffat County School District, Moffat County, CNCC, Moffat County Housing Authority and Craig Chamber of Commerce.
