Two-vehicle crash delays traffic on Victory Way
On Wednesday afternoon, a silver Chevy Heritage High Roof traveling south on Tucker Street struck a white Chrysler 200S while attempting to cross Victory Way. No one was injured in the collision.
The Chevy was driven by Margaret Perez, who was issued a citation for for failing to yield at a stop sign by Cpl. Bryan Gonzalez of Craig Police Department.
Roy Martinez was the driver of the Chrysler struck by Perez. He was issued a citation for driving under restraint. Cpl. Gonzalez said Martinez’s license was restricted for insurance reasons.
Traffic on Victory Way was reduced to one lane for approximately one hour.
I spent this past Saturday morning preparing for Sunday’s lunch branding — at least what I could get done early. I cooked pasta and boiled eggs. I made a gelatin salad. I decided to bake a banana cake, a family favorite, for dessert.
