Two The Memorial Hospital nurses earn certifications for wound care

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

The Memorial Hospital at Craig recently had two registered nurses become wound care certified.

Amy Knights and Wendy Furman attended training through the Wound Care Education Institute and then passed the National Alliance for Wound Care exam to become certified.

TMH General Surgeon Jeff Womble will become the physician advisor for the wound care clinic at TMH.

The wound care clinic is for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes who have wounds that are slow healing.

Patients who need to be seen at the clinic should contact Amy Knights at 970-826-3247.
