Two motorcyclists wreck in downtown Craig: On the Record — April 19 to 21

Friday, April 19

10:20 a.m. On the 1900 block of Baker Drive, police in Craig responded to an abandoned vehicle call. Craig police said they red-tagged a pickup truck for removal.

11:19 a.m. On the 2200 block of West Third Street, Craig community services personnel responded to an animal complaint. Craig police said a white cat with kittens was found underneath a trailer. Craig community services personnel responded to at least five additional animal calls Friday.

12:10 p.m. On the 100 block of East Fourth Street, police responded to a theft call. Craig police said a caller reported that a female took keys from the caller’s vehicle, but no arrests were made.

1:30 p.m. Near the intersection of West Victory Way and Breeze Street, police in Craig responded to an injury crash. Craig police said two motorcycles collided with a sedan. Craig police said they towed at least one vehicle from the scene, but no additional information was available Monday.

4:34 p.m. On the 800 block of West First Street, police in Craig responded to a theft call. Craig police said a female caller reported a stolen license plate.

9:02 p.m. On the 500 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a noise complaint. Craig police said a caller reported loud music, heavy machinery noise and a fire going in a neighbor’s backyard. Police said they issued a citation, but no additional information was available Monday.

9:54 p.m. On the 2000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a theft call. Craig police said a female caller reported a possible stolen cell phone that was left in a cart at a local business.

According to the Craig Police Department incident log, police in Craig responded to 49 calls for service Friday.

Saturday, April 20

1:06 a.m. On the 24 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a disturbance call. Craig police said upon investigation, they found a non-physical disturbance between several males and three males were later trespassed from the business.

10:40 a.m. On the 2100 block of Crockett Drive, police in Craig responded to an assault call. Craig police said they turned the call over to another law enforcement agency.

2:58 p.m. Near the intersection of West Eighth Street and Ranney Street, Craig community service personnel responded to an animal complaint. Personnel responded to at least five additional animal complaints Saturday. Craig police said a verbal warning was issued to a resident for a barking dog.

5:14 p.m. On the 2000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. Craig police said they responded to an accident between two vehicles who were backing up at the time and police did not issue any citations.

7:21 p.m. On the 5200 block of Moffat County Road 30, police in Craig assisted another law enforcement agency. Police in Craig assisted another law enforcement agency at least two additional times Saturday. Craig police said they assisted another law enforcement agency on an unknown incident.

9:39 p.m. At the Pebble Beach boat ramp, police in Craig responded to a liquor violation call. Craig police said they assisted another law enforcement agency on a call outside the city limits.

Sunday, April 21

9:50 a.m. On the 800 block of Breeze Street, Craig police assisted another law enforcement agency. Craig police said a Craig resident recieved a verbal warning for burning leaves and/or trash. Craig police assisted another law enforcement agency at least five additional times Sunday.

12:52 p.m. On West First Street, police in Craig responded to a civil problem call. Craig police said they provided a civil standby for enforcement of a child custody agreement.
