Two MCHS seniors qualify for FBLA national competition
Craig — Two Moffat County High School seniors are headed to the National Future Business Leaders of America competition in Chicago June 28 to July 2 after competing in the state FBLA competition in Vail Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Aubrey Campbell and Katelyn Peroulis placed third in the team Management Decision Making event.
“In the role play round, we just worked really well together and I guess being close friends is helpful,” Campbell said. “We’re kind of on the same level and know what each other’s thinking.”
Campbell and Peroulis were among a group of five MCHS students who attended the state competition.
Senior Hannah Beckett and sophomore Makayla Thompson placed fifth in the Marketing event, and Conner Kopsa competed in the Healthcare Administration event.
The FBLA team will be working to raise $4,000 in the next month to attend the national competition. Their efforts will include a Bulldog merchandise sale.

New school record, outdone expectations at state mark bright future for Moffat County track and field
With Saturday bringing with it a new team record, a competition that nearly didn’t happen, and a bet with some slippery stakes, never let it be said that Moffat County High School track and field athletes don’t make their season exciting right up until the very end.
