Two arrested on warrants: On the record Feb. 19

Monday, Feb. 19 

1:30 a.m. At Bear Valley Inn, officers responded to a report of possible domestic violence between a man and a woman. The woman called, saying her husband would not leave her alone. Later, the caller told officers they had stopped arguing. Officers spoke to both parties, who told officers they did not need assistance. No report was filed.

1:01 p.m. On the 1500 block of Yampa, a caller reported phone fraud. Somebody called posing as the Drug Enforcement Agency with regard to a package the caller had ordered.

2:18 p.m. On the 400 block of East Fourth Street, officers arrested a 35-year-old Craig man on a warrant for failure to display proof of insurance.

3:24 p.m. Officers investigated a drug incident in Craig.

7:46 p.m. On the 1200 block of Taylor Street, officers arrested a 30-year-old Grand Junction man on a warrant out of Grand Junction for contempt of court.
