Trial rescheduled for man who crashed car into motorcyclist
Steamboat Springs — A two-day trial scheduled to begin Thursday for a Steamboat Springs man accused of careless driving resulting in death has been rescheduled for July 10.
Scott Penfold was driving the Jeep Liberty that crashed into German motorcyclist Fels Bernhard on July 2 on Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat.
If convicted, Penfold faces a minimum of 10 days in jail and a maximum of one year in jail.
