To the editor:

The Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services Department would like to thank those who came to and participated in the Third Annual EMS Community barbecue. A big thank to Brooke Behrman-Hankins, Emily White and Theresa Gunn for volunteering. Thank you to Classic Lifeguard for flying in to join the party, Craig Fire Rescue for bringing their ladder truck, Craig Police Officer Norm Rimmer for being available for bicycle registrations and safety checks. Thank you to Colorado State Patrol Dispatcher Carlene Sanders, Reddy Fox and Eddie Eagle who joined in the fun with Terry the Traumasaurus. Thank you to KC and Erica Hume for their rockin’ DJ services. Once again thank you to all who supported EMS week.

Moffat County Class of 2019 Graduation: Tyler Gonzales keeps level head in chaos with full-time job

Some students are choosing to chart their own course after graduation, bucking the conventional path of college or trade school, but with no less ambition than their degree-seeking peers. Moffat County High School senior Tyler Gonzales is one such student, who has chosen to dive into a full-time job at Chaos Ink after graduating and feed his passion for design and entrepreneurialism.
