Tough week ahead for Bulldogs baseball

After facing one of the top three teams in the Western Slope League on Friday, the Moffat County High School varsity baseball team will play the other two this week.

MCHS (5-3 overall, 3-2 in the Western Slope League) split a doubleheader with Palisade on Friday in Craig. The Bulldogs won the first game, 12-10, but were edged out, 7-5, in the second.

The team will host Delta at noon and 2 p.m. Thursday at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave., and then play at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday in Eagle Valley.



Delta (8-3 overall, 6-1 in the WSL) swept Eagle Valley (8-6 overall, 6-3 in the WSL) April 17 to claim first place in the WSL.
