TMH donates $1,000 to high school booster club

The Moffat County Booster Club stepped up to help The Memorial Hospital at Craig move its archived medical records last week.

The labor-intensive move led TMH’s Chief of Organizational Excellence Jennifer Riley to contact Tony Peroulis of the booster club for help. With the effort of more than 20 Moffat County student-athletes, booster club sponsors, parents and coaches, more than 90 percent of the boxed medical records were moved within four hours.

“We cannot thank the Moffat County Booster Club enough,” TMH Health Information Manager Mary Hammond said in a news release. “The students and sponsors who came to help worked hard. If we hadn’t had their help, it would have taken us weeks to finish the project.”

This week, TMH will donate $1,000 to the Moffat County Booster Club.

“TMH needed assistance and the booster club stepped up,” Riley said. “Their help demonstrates the student-athletes’ commitment to helping fund their programs.”
