Faulkner recently finished an interim CEO assignment at Bear Valley Community Health District, in Big Bear, California.

John Nickens, the previous TMH interim CEO, developed another obligation that made it difficult for him to continue in that post, Riley said.

The board announced last Thursday night that it will continue the search for a new CEO.

“We have decided, after extensive deliberation and discussion, that we will continue our search for our chief executive officer,” said Board Chairman Forrest Luke in a written statement. “Since we began our search back in April, we have said that we are committed to finding a CEO that would not only be qualified to lead the organization but one who would also be the right fit for the hospital and our community.”
