Thomas Leon Whitesell

1942-2002

Thomas Leon Whitesell of Craig died Monday, June 10, 2002. He was 59.

Whitesell was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Craig, Colo., to John and Stella (Reece) Whitesell. He was raised and attended school in Craig, where he lived his entire life.

He married Patricia Earle on Oct. 12, 1965, in Craig.

Whitesell worked from many years as a shop maintenance man for the Moffat County Road and Bridge Depatment. He was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge and a handyman.

Whitesell is survived by his wife, Pat, of Craig and brother, Carl Whitesell, of Rifle, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were June 17, 2002, at Grant Mortuary Chapel with Bill Lyon officiating.

Soloist was Loretta Earle with “One More Time” and “God On The Mountain” as the selections.

Honorary pallbearers were all of Whitesell’s many friends.

Services concluded at the mortuary.
