Theodore Ralph Heaney, Jr.

Theodore Ralph (Ted) Heaney, Jr. of Porterville, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006. He was 80. Heaney was born in Beatrice, Neb., to Theodore Ralph, Sr. and Daisy (Stevens) Heaney. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paso Robles, Calif.

He liked to hunt, fish, scuba dive and travel. He was retired from the Carpenter’s Union and he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He is survived by three sons, Dennis of Craig; Ralph of Springville, Calif.; and Ernest of Templeton, Calif; two sisters, Donna of Nebraska and Shirley of Texas; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.



Heaney was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sara “Sue” Rae (Heldt) Heaney.

Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.
