The Fross family: Thank you for help

To the editor:

We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all of the people who helped our family through a difficult time. We experienced the caring and support that makes this a community in which we are so very proud to live in.

Special thanks to Maria, Kathy and Liza, of the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, hospice, doctors Brian Harrington and Frankie Hannah, and Penny and Nancy and their associates at the Hayden Clinic.

Also, thanks to the staff at Sandrock Ridge who helped Ed to get back on his feet and return home for the last months of his life. The support from neighbors, friends and all of you has made this time better for us.

Thank you so very much.

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
