The Burtons, Ballecks and the Lindsey family: Thank you for support
To the editor:
The family of Lex Burton would like to thank everyone who took the time to phone or visit us in our time of sorrow. A huge thank you to the nurses at Hospice and the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association. You are all priceless! Also to Cammi and Kyle Balleck for your middle-of-the-night visits. We appreciate all the food and words of comfort from the community. To everyone who I failed to mention, a big thanks to you, too. You never know how much one person can touch so many lives until they are gone. Lex was a big storyteller, but I’ve heard a lot of other stories from people he helped rescue from accidents, helped with their animals or their vehicles. We have a great community of caring people in Craig.
