Thank you, Craig
On Thursday morning, June 6, we were traveling north on Colorado Highway 13 from Rifle toward Craig when our small RV broke down. A bad day turned into a good experience when we were helped by many people. First, Gordon, who towed our RV to the Chevy dealer in Craig where they worked us into their schedule and made our wait as pleasant as possible. While there we visited with Louise who was having her car serviced. She told us more about the area and about the upcoming Chainsaw Artist Competition that sounded like a fun event. We read the local paper and the brochure about Craig and we were impressed with the variety of events and organizations listed and, being a quilter, I noted the Quilt Guild. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Village Inn and spent the night at the Craig Campground and everyone we met was welcoming and friendly. Craig seems like a nice community with generous residents, and we just want to thank you all for making our long day a pleasant one.
