Terry Crouse: Property owners don’t have unlimited funds

Think about it.

I have nothing against a new hospital or improving education.

They both are needed. What I have a problem with is the property owners are the ones who foot the bill.

People seem to think the property owner has an unlimited supply of funds and because they own property they should foot the bill for every one. Almost every election they are asked to give more.

What would be wrong with an increase in sales tax so that every one shares the bill and not just one sector? Most people have worked hard to own and keep property and should not have to pay the bill for those who don’t have property or are here for only a year or two.

I hope all voters think about this.

Thank you.
