Sylvia D. Jackson

Craig resident Sylvia D. Jackson died April 12, 2003, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. She was 86.

Jackson was born Feb. 18, 1917, in Woodward, Okla., to Richard and Angela Tune. She was raised and attended school in Woodward. She has resided in Craig for the past 66 years and worked at the Cosgriff Hotel for 25 years as a dishwasher.

She enjoyed gardening.

Jackson is survived by her son, Roy Smith, of Craig; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and sister, Rowanna Finley of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; sister, Goldie; and one grandchild.

Services were April 14 at Highland Cemetery in Meeker with Mervin Johnson
