Superfood Tip: Watermelon
Watermelon is not just a tasty summer fruit that is made up of sugar and water. First off, when you see red in the pigment of watermelon, tomato or red bell pepper, think lycopene. When you think lycopene, think extremely powerful antioxidant that helps reduce risk of cancer.
Watermelon also is a great source of vitamin A, vitamin B6 and vitamin C. And to top it off, watermelon only offers 80 calories for every two cups.
