Superfood Tip: Swap out fruits for candy this Halloween

If you’re looking to stay away from sugar comas this Halloween, try swapping candy for sweet, delicious fruit.

Oranges are a great alternative to candy — they’re sweet, juicy and full of nutrition. To give your orange a Halloween kick, try peeling it and putting ¼ of a celery stick in the top to make it look like a pumpkin.

Bananas also offer spooky fun and are a healthy alternative to candy. Peel a banana and put raisins on the top to make it look like eyes.

Whatever your healthy snack is this Halloween, be sure and have fun and stay safe.
