Drinking lemon water is a simple habit that has many potential health benefits. An average-sized person can dilute the juice of half of one lemon in a cup of warm water. Warm lemon water detoxifies hydrates and purifies. It also boosts the immune system, aids in digestion and reduces the body's pH. All of these are important factors in overall wellness. Before reaching for that coffee mug first thing in the morning try replacing or pre-empting it with a cup of warm lemon water; the results will astound you.
