Superfood Tip: Berries

The berries are back! They are in season and on sale — a perfect combo. Most all berries are an excellent source of vitamin C and fiber. They are packed with flavor and because of high water and low sugar content, are they are very low in calories.

Blueberries and blackberries stand out from other berries. Their deep-purple color contain anthocyanin, resveratrol and alpha-tocopherol which may provide heart healthy and cancer fighting benefits.
