Student News: Tarango honored

The United States Achievement Academy recently announced that Autumn Tarango, of Rawlins, Wyo., has been recognized by the academy as a student of excellence in social studies.

Autumn, a Rawlins Middle School student, was nominated for the honor by Sarah Broadway, a teacher at the school. Autumn will appear in the academy’s official yearbook, which is published nationally.

Autumn is the daughter of Ralph and Deena Tarango, of Rawlins.



Her grandparents are Ed Counts, of Craig; Dorothy and Dennis Byrd, of Doddridge, Ark.; Marg and Jim Kourlis, of Craig; and the late Raul Tarango.
