Student News: Benjamin Todd Koucherik

Benjamin Todd Koucherik graduated from Louisiana State University on May 17, 2013, with a Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre. A 2001 graduate of Moffat County High School, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder. While at LSU, he was a frequent performer and marketing associate with Swine Palace, Louisiana’s premier professional theatre company. He also had primary directing responsibility for Swine Palace’s 2013 production of John Biguenet’s Pulitzer Prize-nominated play “Rising Water.” He now plans to pursue a career as a professional actor. He is the son of Ed Koucherik and Linda Gooch, and the husband of fellow MCHS Class of 2001 graduate Elizabeth Koucherik (Shonts).
