— The Steamboat Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of using a stolen credit card.

A student had his wallet and credit card stolen from the Colorado Mountain College campus Aug. 19.

Police learned the credit card was used at three locations that same day, and they have video surveillance footage of the male suspect.

The credit card was used at Walmart, the Kum & Go on the west side of Steamboat and at Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa.

The suspect has dark hair and facial hair and is estimated to be about 30 years old. He was driving a dark sport-utility vehicle. In Hot Sulphur Springs, he was seen wearing a beret.

Anyone with information can call Steamboat police at 970-879-4344. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Routt County Crime Stoppers at 970-870-6226.
