Grade: Senior, Moffat County High School
Sport: Wrestling, 215 pounds
How did you get your start in your sport?
“In middle school, all my friends were doing it, so I figured I might as well do it, too.”
What is a strength that you bring to your team?
“I get the team a lot of pin points. When I wrestle, usually it is either I pin or I lose. I haven’t been pinned yet this year, either.”
In your sport, what would you like to improve on personally?
“I would like to improve my shooting skills. I want to work on having a higher percentage of takedowns than I did last year.”
What is your favorite part of your sport?
“The accomplishment of winning is awesome.”
What do you feel is the hardest part about your sport?
“The conditioning is really difficult. Practice in January is killer to prepare us for our matches.”
What is something about your team an outsider may not know?
“Every single person on the team is hilarious. When we go to tournaments, it is a non-stop joke for 48 hours.”
