How did you get your start in your sport?
“Mostly it was my dad and my brothers. They love sports and they love basketball, so I wanted to do it, too.”
What strengths do you bring to the team?
“I just try to be the best point guard and handle the ball well and not turn it over.”
What do you think you need to improve?
“I’m definitely trying to have some confidence in myself and try to pull myself up with the other guys.”
Who do you think has good leadership skills on your team that you try to follow?
“The seniors, Zach (Raftopoulos) and Chet (Harvey) and all of them, are always bringing leadership in and talking to us.”
What would you say has been the highlight of your team’s season?
“I’d have to say winning against (Grand Junction) Central (in overtime). That was one of our funnest games”

Ruth Rose Hutton was a fighter. As she aged, multiple falls compromised her independence, but her spirit endured. She always seemed to recover, surprising her doctors and family, who were grateful to have her in their lives until her death at age 87.
