Ski Club offers discount lift tickets

Craig Parks and Recreation has begun registration for Ski Club.

Ski Club offers Craig residents the opportunity to ski and snowboard in Steamboat Springs at a reduced rate on Saturdays for the rest of the season. For a one-time $10 fee to join, Ski Club members can get lift tickets for $51 for Saturday ski sessions in Steamboat. The price is a flat rate for all ages.

Regular lift ticket prices for the season are $97 for adults, $83 for teens and $59 for children.

Trailbusters season begins in January

Registration is open for Craig Parks and Recreation’s 2011 Trailbusters season.

The program teaches skiing and snowboarding skills to youths 6 to 15. Lessons will be in Steamboat Springs.

Moffat County High School senior Tyler Gonzales is one such student, who has chosen to dive into a full-time job at Chaos Ink after graduating and feed his passion for design and entrepreneurialism.
