Sports briefs for Jan. 15, 2014: Craig BCA standings through 13 weeks
The Craig Billiards Congress of America pool league has resumed play after the holidays, and Git R Done has not missed a beat.
The team’s spot at the top of the league has not been contested, as it maintains a 38-point lead ahead of second place with 2,130 points through 13 weeks.
The One Eyed Bandits are in second at 2,092 points, holding a slim lead against Uh-Oh (2,081).
Odd Ballz has dropped from second to fourth and has some work to do to catch the teams ahead of it. The team sits at 2,051 points, just ahead of No Ex-Cue-Ses at 2,050.
Out 4 Blood remains in sixth place with 1,986 points.

Next water aerobics session open for registration
Registration for water aerobics during the winter is now open through Craig Parks and Recreation.
Water aerobics offer a low-resistance method of exercise and can improve fitness and flexibility. The classes for the most recent winter session end today, but the next session starts Jan. 27. Classes are 7 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through March 26.
Signing up for the entire session costs $45, or those interested can attend individual classes for $4. For more information, call Craig Parks and Recreation at 970-826-2017.
Stagecoach State Park hosts ice tourney
Steamboat Great Outdoors will host the third annual Steamboat Great Outdoors Ice Fishing Tournament from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stagecoach State Park on Sunday.
The tournament is limited to trout species only. Cash prizes will be awarded, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Oak Creek Fire Corps. For tournament rules and registration forms, visit http://www.steamboatgreatoutdoors.com or call 970-819-4525.
The tournament is limited to 200 adult entries. Youths can participate for free and are eligible for non-cash prizes. Adult advance registration is $25, and day-of registration is $35. Early registration and payment will be accepted until 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at Spiros’s in Oak Creek, Elk River Snack Shack in Steamboat Springs, or by mail to Steamboat Great Outdoors, P.O. Box 770184, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477.
The 2014 Colorado Parks and Wildlife regulations apply to all participants. A valid park pass is required and carpooling is highly recommended, as parking may be limited. OHVs and snowmobiles are permitted at your own risk, for fishing access only on the lake surface.
Adult indoor soccer at the Boys and Girls Club
Bill Sawer is hosting coed indoor soccer for adults at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig.
The five-on-five games are for players of all skill levels and cost $2 per player, per night. Those coming should wear tennis shoes. Games take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays through March.
