Parent volunteers are needed to coach to make the program successful.

Registration is $30 per player and the deadline is Jan. 11.

Any registration turned in after Jan. 11 will be put on a waiting list.

The season will run from Feb. 13 to April 12.

Youth basketball coaches needed

Moffat County Youth Basketball is looking for any individuals interested in coaching the sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys and girls basketball teams for the upcoming season.

Coaching responsibilities include hosting practices during the week, typically twice, and participating in regional tournaments throughout February, March and possibly April.

The annual Yampa Valley Classic Youth Basketball tournament, held in Craig, is tentatively scheduled for mid-March.

Coaching selections will be made before a coaches’ and parents’ meeting scheduled for mid-January.

Interested individuals should reply to mcybhoops@aol.com.
