Sports briefs: Baseball team to play Steamboat Sailors

The Moffat County High School boys varsity baseball team is scheduled to play Steamboat Springs High School at 4 p.m. today at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave.

Moffat County (3-2 overall, 1-1 in the Western Slope League) has not had a game since the March 13 Montrose tournament.

Steamboat Springs (2-10 overall, 1-6 in the WSL) lost twice Saturday to Palisade High School.

Moffat County originally was slated to play Delta on April 10, but a wet field forced the two teams to postpone their meeting until April 22.
