Thanks to staff at The Memorial Hospital

To the Editor:

I want to publicly thank the staff of The Memorial Hospital and Dr. Tom Told and his student doctor Farr for providing me with outstanding care during my hospitalization from June 15 to 18. I have been suffering from an improperly diagnosed medical condition for years and, finally, the unrelenting headaches brought me to the TMH ER last week. The ER Nurse Art Smith, Lynn Nichols, and Christine Cooper from the Laboratory provided me with wonderful care and outstanding service. Dr. Told admitted me to the hospital, where the care was outstanding. Dr. Told then researched my medical history and listened to me as I explained my condition. Before my recent experience, I had attempted to receive care in many other communities without success. Because of his willingness to listen, Dr. Told determined that I had contracted Lyme Disease a number of years ago and still was suffering the effects of that infection. I’m under treatment now and on the road to recovery, thanks to the great care and attention I received here in my home town.
