Sheela Baker: Thank you TMH
A monumental shout out to the outstanding staff of The Memorial Hospital of Craig. I recently had to pay a visit there, and the care I received did not go unnoticed. I couldn’t have asked for better care. My doctor, day and night shift and dietary, were simply remarkable. I wish I had the room to name every single person. I adore each and every one of them. Some came in just to chat. Some came in because I’ve known them for years, and vice versa. And I left there having met new acquaintances. Some take for granted what these driven people have chosen to do for a living. The hours alone, it’s enough to push your limit. The things they endure, the skill they have, learn and teach, followed by the reward. It’s not easy all the time, but they do it. They have been taught right. Especially The Memorial Hospital of Craig. They made my stay pleasant, if you will. These sweet people know what they are doing. And for all that you do, I thank you.
Diabetics in Colorado who use insulin to control their blood sugar levels won’t pay more than $100 per month for the drug starting in January thanks to a bill signed into law by Gov. Jared Polis on Wednesday.
