Senior Spotlight for Nov. 7, 2011

I got the card table out again — jigsaw puzzle time. My daughter Jane and I do jigsaw puzzles when the weather says it’s that time of the year.

They have jigsaw puzzles in the rec room we can borrow. I get some in my Christmas stuff or somebody brings me some.

We also do jigsaw puzzles for friends, neighbors. I guess I don’t think I’m puzzled enough, I also do variety puzzles, etc.

Life is a puzzle at times.

Right now, I have happy birthdays to Justin and Vicki Gallegos, Phyllis Varela, Sally Nash, Heidi Meyring, Chanelle Southard, and Edwin Noonan.

Get well/speedy recovery to Elsie Chase, Yolanda Cruz, Craig Tomke and Phyllis Varela.

AARP’s driver safety program is from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the VFW Post 4265 in Craig. It’s free to veterans and spouses. For more information, call Bev Chapman at 824-5123.

The VFW senior dinner is at 5 p.m. today.

Sunset Meadows I Friday noon potluck has no bingo due to Veterans Day holiday on Nov. 11.
