Senior Spotlight for Nov. 2

I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving. I’m not much of a Halloween person. It’s OK, but I like events that include family gatherings better.

I love pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce and so on.

So, I’ll be looking forward to the upcoming holidays.

In the meantime, we have happy birthday well wishes for Phyllis Varela, Bill Chase, Justin and Vicki Gallegos, Russell Peterson, and Channelle Southard.

Get well/speedy recovery to Jim Wells, Lina Tomaseck, Paula Espino, Severino Nicoletto, Teri Hale and Elaine Pearce.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Millie Bilsing had company and was pleasantly surprised by her daughters, Pam from Broomfield and Penny from Greeley, who visited her for her birthday Oct. 21.

Later this month, there will be a Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse meeting at the Moffat County Public Safety Center.

There will be a potluck at noon Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Bingo follows at 1 p.m. See you there? Come join us.

News is always welcome. Call me at 824-2139.
