Senior Spotlight for May 9, 2011
May 9, 2011
As I got my stuff out to write Senior Spotlight, the light reflected on my ring, a mother's ring.
Looking at it, I thought of four stones — five children, with one stone counting for two people.
Their signs came to mind, so I got my birthday book out. Aquarius, Gemini, Aries, Sagittarius. The stone colors are deep red, yellow, white and blue. Each stone stands for a special person — my sons and daughters.
As different in character as the stones on my ring, each brings into my life memories made of things and stuff went through together, by ourselves, etc., but all of it with unconditional love, which exists still today.
I tell people I have the best kids in the world.
I wish all of you the best belated Mother's Day.
