Senior spotlight for March 23

Looks like spring has sprung in some places with flowers bravely showing colorful faces.

Spring break is over, and we are back to our usual routines.

Some seed catalogs are coming to our mailbox; do they know something I don’t know? In my forecast, there’s still snow.

I have birthdays for Sheryl Searcy, Ute Murray, Irene Moralez, Sharon Keller, Beth Dixon and Billie Jo Butler.

Get well/speedy recovery to Maureen Gagnon, Teresa Rendon, James and Clara Abeyta, Jim Wells, Betty Rice and Karen Prince.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

The McDonald’s Senior Breakfast is scheduled for Wednesday. The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Bingo follows at 1 p.m.

News is always welcome. Call or come see me, OK?

Thanks.
