Senior Spotlight for June 30

Mary Jo Brown

Summer time; the sun is shining.

People are buzzing around like bees on this beautiful day. I am hoping the rain will stay away.

I went to a lake in Steamboat Springs last week, and it was so nice. Saw some boats out in the water, zooming around.

The trip was really nice and enjoyable with my daughter, Jane, and great-granddaughter, Jennifer.

Also enjoyable are birthdays. Jean Muhume was pleasantly surprised Saturday at Sunset Meadows I when family members gave her a party that afternoon.

Happy birthday also to Delores Yoast, Charlotte Graham, Ruby Gaskill, Tisa Moore and Lisa Dimick.

Get well/speedy recovery to Delores St. Louis, Jerry Teeter, Linda Herrera and Airoughn Van Grandt.

There will be no Preserving the Last Frontier meetings at Sunset Meadows I until September.

There will be no meals or bus service at Sunset Meadows on Friday because of the Fourth of July holiday. There will not be a potluck this week.

Have a very enjoyable Fourth of July weekend.
