Senior Spotlight for June 27, 2011

Mary Jo Brown

June is a month of weddings, anniversaries, vacations, graduation and tanning.

Then comes July rodeos, but wait … let's not forget the Fourth of July.

The real reason we celebrate the Fourth of July is very important — Independence Day.

Join the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 and help celebrate the day by honoring our flag for what it really stands for.

Come on, folks, let's show our servicemen and women we really care for them and what they are fighting for — freedom. Be in the VFW's Fourth of July parade, join in the fun at Craig City Park, put on your sunscreen and go for it.

Happy birthday to Dottie Reynolds, Reba Wilson, Helen Dobbin, Charlotte Grantham, Ruby Gaskill and Oliver Pieroni.
