Senior Spotlight for June 11: A beautiful day in the neighborhood
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
The wind was somewhere else for a while, and it was quite nice.
Over the weekend, my family and I were doing birthdays because this month is one in which we have several. We have some on the same day even, and it sometimes seems like we have one every day.
For fun, we get together on the weekends and bunch some of them up.
Anyway, happy birthday to Amber Guice Southard, Roy James, Kaley Gill, Ena Pearl, Sarah Faye Paulson, Donald Davison and Linda Sandoval.
Get well/speedy recovery to all of you who are feeling ill in any way of mind, body or soul.
The noon potluck is scheduled for Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Father’s Day is Sunday.
A special prayer goes out to all families and especially to fathers who can’t be home for some reason or another.
Flag Day is Thursday.
News is always welcome. Call me at 824-2139 with birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
