Senior Spotlight for July 20

Another July weekend gone by.

It reminds me of the song, “Sunrise, Sunset.” Where has the summer gone? It seems like the year is also going by fast.

But, time is what it’s all about. What we do with that time is what counts.

Like time, birthdays, too, come regularly. This week, I have birthdays for Celeste Serrano and Tisa Knibbs.

Get well/speedy recovery to Jim Wells, Rose Razzano, Jerry Teeter, Karen Prince, Ben Chapman, Kathy Wells and Linda Herrera.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Come see us.

The AARP meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. July 26 at Sunset Meadows I.

The McDonald’s senior breakfast is July 28.

It’s summertime and people are on vacations and trips, etc. I’d like to hear from you.

Call me at 824-2139.
