Senior Spotlight for Jan. 26, 2011

My Christmas cactus is now blooming and really beautiful. It usually blooms around Thanksgiving and lasts for some time, as the blooms are not all at the same time.

Like me, my plant is getting slower as time goes by, but we both continue to keep on going, like the ever-ready rabbit. We pop up here and there.

So do birthdays. Happy birthday wishes go out to Janette Harris, Jane Glanville, Kelly Wells and Daniel Piper.

Get well/speedy recovery to Beverly Chapman, Vienna Miller, Kristen Borchard, Roberta Hale, Mary Bea Neu and Bob Harrington.

The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I. Bingo may follow.

I would like to get more info on birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

I don’t get out much anymore, so write or call or come on over.

I can be reached at 824-2139 or 633 Ledford St., apartment 112.
