Senior Spotlight for Jan. 16, 2012

Mary Jo Brown

I got a DVD for Christmas of playful kittens.

It was educational in the presentation. The storyline was a kitten having a birthday party with his kitten friends. I collect cat/kitten stuff, so I enjoyed the DVD.

The point I’m making is my dog-loving friends I know didn’t enjoy my kitten party DVD, so I learned when dog people outnumber feline stuff, put on “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” or when looking for something to sit down and watch with guests, family, etc.

Theirs are always reruns.

Happy birthday to Sean Southard, May Ogg, Sophie Nardie and Virginia Acord.

Get well/speedy recovery to Leroy Lawton, Al Gloeckel, Tillie Gallegos, Delores Valenzuela and Al Herrera.
