Senior Spotlight for August 27, 2012

Mary Jo Brown

The last week of this August draws nearer, and with it the autumn feeling of fall.

Canning and other September things that are in the process will be starting or about done by then.

School children are on their way either to or from school, depending on which school they are going to. New friends to be made, perhaps to take the place of friends that have moved on?

Anyway, seasons change and bring change in what we do in that period of time, though some things stay the same.

Happy birthday to Judith Heflin, Wayne Mohrstadt, Dena Price and Keith Antonson.

Get well/speedy recovery to Skye Knibbs, Verniece Self, Phyllis Smith, Celeste Starling and Bob Pearce.

The Independent Life Center Meeting is at 1:30 p.m. today in the recreation room, and the AARP meeting is at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Meadows I.

News and visitors are welcome, call me at 824-2139.
