Senior Spotlight for April 26, 2013
The greatest thing I have discovered about myself lately is an increasing belief that I can overcome the challenges I have faced since my health has caused changes in my physical ability to get things done. No, I am not “hale and hearty” — there is still a long way to go before I achieve that.
The discovery is that if I truly believe and try hard enough, I can get things done that I once was afraid to try. If I want it done my way, the best thing to do is do it myself, so I try and often am successful. I know everyone has their own way of doing things because we are, after all, individuals. The best way to find out who I am is to do some soul searching, and through my love for Jesus, my family and my determination to better my health, faith and outlook on life, by golly, I believe I’ll get ’er done.
