Senior Spotlight for April 16: April showers bring May flowers

I was listening to the news on the television and they were talking about tornadoes.

I thought, my gosh, those poor people.

Imagine more than 100 tornadoes in a short period of time.

Colorado never sounded so good.

When they forecast rain, snow in some places, I start thinking April showers bring May flowers.

Happy birthday to Evelyn Shin, Clara Stewart, Ruth White, Jim Compestine, Shirley Sharys, and Jean Goldstein.

Get well/speedy recovery to all who have the flu, etc.

This week’s potluck is at noon Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

An early blood draw takes place from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Meadows II, 595 Ledford St., for residents 65 and older.

Thanks.
