Saturday night gathering in Craig ends in citations for minors: On the Record — April 26 to 28

Friday, April 26

8:31 a.m. Near the intersection of East Fourth Street and Lincoln Street, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. A party was issued a citation, but no additional information was available Monday.



1:34 a.m. On the 500 block of Conner Drive, police in Craig responded to a fraud call. A caller reported receiving phone calls that his social security number had been suspended.  

4:34 p.m. Near the Woodbury area, police responded to a property lost call. A resident turned in a found wallet.



4:58 p.m. On the 2000 block of Jeffcoat Drive, police in Craig responded to a burglary call. Officers said a caller reported their house was broken into, but did not find anything missing and police continue to investigate.

8:47 p.m. On the 900 block of West First Street, police in Craig responded to a harassment call. A caller reported harassment, so police took a report and the case is still under investigation.

9:16 p.m. At the Elk Run apartments, police in Craig executed a warrant. A 28-year-old Craig man was arrested on a Craig municipal warrant.

Saturday, April 27

12:23 a.m. On the 600 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a theft call. A caller reported a man and woman were stealing propane tanks from across the street, but upon investigation, police determined no crime had been committed.

4:23 a.m. Police in Craig responded to a domestic violence call. Craig police said a caller reported a young woman had been assaulted by her boyfriend and the case is still under investigation.

3:38 p.m. On the 1000 block of Thompson Way, police in Craig responded to an agency assist call. Craig police said they assisted the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office in a call outside the city limits. Officers responded to at least two additional agency assist calls Saturday.

11:06 p.m. On the 3000 block of Douglas Street, police in Craig responded to a theft call. A caller reported a roommate moved out and allegedly stole some belongings.

According to the Craig Police Department incident log, police in Craig responded to 50 calls for service Saturday.

Sunday, April 28

12:49 a.m. On the 500 block of First Avenue, police in Craig responded to a noise complaint. Officers said several individuals were issued citations for minors in possession.

8:16 a.m. On the 3000 block of Douglas Street, police in Craig responded to a drug violation/incident call. Craig police said they continue to investigate a possible drug case.

7:02 p.m. On the 700 block of Country Club Drive, police in Craig responded to a disturbance call. Officers said they continue to investigate a juvenile-related call.

10:45 p.m. Police in Craig responded to a domestic violence call. Craig police said a 29-year-old Craig female was arrested on a charge of violation of a restraining order.
