Roy and Charleah Firestone: Saying goodbye

Roy and Charleah Firestone

To the editor:

How do you say goodbye? You are a community that has been part of our lives for the past 37 years. We have enjoyed living here, and the people of Craig have made it a special place. Thank you for helping us raise our two children who now are grown-ups.

Thanks to the Moffat County School District for giving me the opportunity to teach and share music with your children for 32 years.

Thanks to Colowyo for the many opportunities and training you gave Roy for 31 years.

Thanks to the Moffat County Library staff. It was a pleasure to work with you and all the wonderful patrons.

Thanks to our church family at The Journey at First Baptist and Craig Christian churches that have helped us grow in the Lord.

Thanks to all our friends whose friendship has been very dear to us. We will miss you! If you ever find yourself in the Grand Valley, look us up and we can show you the attractions that it offers.

It is time to really retire. The Grand Valley is where Roy and I grew up, and it will be great to get reacquainted with our extended families.

May God bless you all!

Roy and Charleah Firestone
